(PDF with photo) May 27, 2018 – Caroline County Career and Technology Education (CTE) students recently joined others from across the state at the Center of Applied Technology North in Anne Arundel County to compete in the SkillsUSA Maryland State Championships. SkillsUSA is a state-level competition for high school and post-secondary students who are enrolled in CTE programs.

According to Christine Wright, CCTC Cosmetology Instructor and co-advisor for SkillsUSA, “Mr. Hall (CCTC Construction Instructor and co-advisor) and I are so proud of these students. They worked hard over the past few months to perfect their technical skills and prepare for the competition. They represented Caroline County in a very professional manner.”

The co-advisors also praised the school system administration and staff for their understanding and commitment to the SkillsUSA students, whose motto is, “Job-Ready, Day One!”
