North Caroline High School Students Shine at Future Business Leaders of America State Competition

(PDF) March 22, 2018 - Students from North Caroline High School (NCHS) attended the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) annual conference in Hunt Valley, Maryland. While there, they participated in competitive events, networked, and learned new ideas about shaping their career future through workshops.

The conclusion of this three-day conference was the State Awards Program, where 18 NCHS students were recognized for placing in competitive events. Of these students, three are eligible to compete at the National Leadership Conference, June 28-July 1, 2018, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Brad Cruikshank ---1st place in Accounting II and is eligible to compete at the national level 

Katie DePasquale --3rd place in Electronic Career Portfolio and is eligible to compete at the national level 

Michael Cohen and Tucker Stevens--4th place in Marketing and is eligible to compete at the national level 

Alyssa George and Yasmeen Johnson--7th place in Publication Design

Sarah Ferkler --9th place in Business Communications

Caroline Lednum and Brett Schreyer--9th place in Global Business

Alexa Lawton and Kylie Phillips--10th place in Public Service Announcement

Angie Vasquez and Kathy Constanza--Honorable mention in Broadcast Journalism

Hailey McNinch--Honorable Mention in Business Communications

Aliyah Bair--Honorable Mention in Emerging Business Issues

Sikari Harless--Honorable Mention in Health Care Administration
