The Caroline County Public Schools central office and support services employees held a fundraising challenge during the month of December to raise money for the Caroline County Public Library's Imagination Library.

Participants in the program receive one new, high-quality, age-appropriate book mailed to their home every month from birth to age 5.

The Dollywood Foundation provides administrative support for the program, with all other funds being raised locally; $25 per year covers the cost of 12 books and postage for one child.

The employees, through a variety of silent auctions, drawings, one employee's Go Fund Me page and donations from vendors were able to raise $10,250 for the program.

Assistant Superintendent for Administration Milton Nagel and Assistant Superintendent for Instruction Dr. Patricia Saelens presented the check to library executive director Deborah Bennett and Tearesa French, supervisor of the Family Support Center and Judy Hoyer Centers.
