Fifty-eight new teachers joined the ranks of Caroline County Public Schools on Wednesday, August 12. A new teacher breakfast was held at North Caroline High School to welcome the new staff members to the county.
Of the 58 new teachers, 17 of them are graduates of the Caroline County Public School system. Fourteen of the new teachers are filling new positions created in this year's budget.
Superintendent John Ewald, who himself is new to the school system this year, welcomed the teachers as did Board President Tolbert Rowe.

Greensboro Elementary School has seven new teachers. They are: Caroline Lovett, Zelie Kneller, Kayla Holecheck, Angela Webster, Sarah Engles, Rachel Gleaton and Megan Williams.
