Caroline Graduates Earn Almost $3 million in Scholarships and Awards

Caroline County Public School graduates earn almost $3 million in awards

The high school seniors at Colonel Richardson High and North Caroline High Schools have been offered almost $3 million in awards and scholarships from a wide variety of organizations and institutions of higher learning. A total of 122 graduated from CRHS and 246 graduated from NCHS.

Colonel Richardson High School students received $1.4 million in scholarships, grants and awards. Colleges the students have been accepted to: Frostburg, University of Baltimore, Mount St. Mary’s, Gettysburg, McDaniel, Roanoke, Hood, Warren Wilson, Catholic University, Temple, Drexel, Salisbury, St. Thomas, York, Paul Smith’s College, Unity, Delaware Valley, Waynesburg, and Wesley

One CRHS senior is entering the United States Air Force.

North Caroline High School students received a total of $1.6 million in scholarships, grants and awards. Colleges the students have received acceptances to attend: Stevenson University, Towson, Salisbury University, Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, Chesapeake, American University, Keystone, George Mason, Marymount, Pittsburgh Technical, Princeton, University of Maryland College Park, Swarthmore, West Virginia, Liberty, Washington, Wesley, Messiah, Delaware Technical, Converse College, Sweet Briar, Lebanon Valley, York College of Pennsylvania, University of MD Eastern Shore, Coppin State, St. Mary’s, McDaniel, Mount St. Mary’s, Auburn, James Madison, Johnson and Wales, Elmira, Duquesne, Roanoke, Georgia Institute of Technology, Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, Coastal Carolina, Savannah College of Art & Design, Troy University, Loyola University, and Frostburg.

Six NCHS seniors are entering the United States Marines, three are entering the Maryland State Police Academy, three are entering the United States Navy, two are entering the United States National Guard, and one is entering the United States Coast Guard.
