North Caroline High School senior class officers went one step further to help support ALS research recently. Angela Garrett, senior class advisor, said since the schools all participated in the ALS ice bucket challenge, they decided to participate in another event. The group participated in the ALS Walk for the Cure in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware on September 13 and raised $1,170. The team goal was $1,000. Participating in the three mile walk were: John Orris, Montana Walton, Madison Shaw, Makayla Mullikin, Zach Schall, Angela Garett, Miles Garrett, Holland Garrett, Kateyln Gunderson and Jackson Garrett.
