Caroline County Public School Graduates earn almost $5 million in awards

The high school seniors at Colonel Richardson High and North Caroline High Schools have been offered almost $5 million in awards and scholarships from a wide variety of organizations and institutions of higher learning.

Colonel Richardson High School students received $1.78 million in scholarships, grants and awards.  Colleges the students have been accepted to: Allegany College, Alvernia, Antonelli Art Institute, Butler, Campbell University, Chesapeake College, Clemson, University of MD College Park, Delaware Technical, Delaware State University, Delaware Valley, East Tennessee, Franklin & Marshall, Frostburg, Hampton University, High Point, Hofstra, Hood, Kutztown, Lebanon Valley, Longwood, Loyola, McDaniel, Morgan Mt. St. Mary’s, Muhlenberg, Philadelphia University, Radford, Randolph Macon, Roger Williams, Salisbury University, Shepherd, St. Mary’s, Stevenson, SUNY Albany, Towson, UMBC, UMES, University of Kansas, University of Rochester, Washington, Washington Adventist, Wesley, West Virginia, William & Mary, and York College.

Three CRHS seniors will be entering the United States Navy, two are going into the United States Army National Guard and one is entering the United States Marines.

North Caroline High School students received a total of $3 million in scholarships, grants and awards. Colleges the students have received acceptances to attend: Salisbury, Towson, Chesapeake, Coastal Carolina, Delaware Technical, College of Staten Island, Moore College of Art and Design, UMES, Morgan State University, Pittsburgh Technical Institute, Germanna Community College, Wingate University, George Mason, Washington & Jefferson, Messiah, McDaniel, Millersville, Frostburg, Stevenson, St. Thomas, Clarion, Bridgewater, Wilkes University, Kent State, University of Mt. Union, University of Pittsburgh, Drexel, Washington, Harris School of Business, St. Mary’s, University of MD College Park, University of Delaware, Penn State, College of Coastal Georgia, Cecil Community College, Liberty, Harford Community, Ohio Technical, Wilmington University, Wesley, University of South Carolina, Anne Arundel Community, Wor-Wic Technical, University of California Santa Barbara, Florida Southern, Campbell, Louisiana State University, University of Alabama, Arizona State, East Carolina University, Ohio State, Rutgers, Texas A & M, Westminster College, University of Northwestern Ohio, York College of Pennsylvania, Lincoln Tech, Loyola, College of Charleston, East Stroudsburg, Hofstra, Hampton, Universal Technical Institute, West Chester, Occidental College, Chapman, Lawrence, Allgehany, Fordham, St. John’s, Warren Wilson College and Ferrum College.

Six NCHS seniors are entering the United States Army, four have enlisted in the United States Navy, three will be entering the United States Marine Corps, one is entering the United States Air Force, one is entering the United States Coast Guard and one is entering the United States National Guard.
